Day 2
The majestic Connought
Place lies in the heart of Lutyen's Delhi. The Circular structures that often
mark the Presence of Delhi on Google Maps,are that of the Connought place.
Though most of the
buildings are in white, you can observe here ,nearly all the colours of Delhi
,at their best.
Some Trendy,Some Classy,
Some wierd, Some Confused,Some Amusing, Some Hilarious, Some Extra Juvinile,and
Some pretending themselves to be Larger than life!
Quite populated, be it a
vacation or not; it houses most of the couples trying hard to escape into some
Good Times,away from their regular schedules. It is their moment indeed! Many
People earn their Living by selling Books,novels,flowers, chana
Masala,Popcorns,Ice Creams etc. Probably, their sales are much larger than the
big fat Shop owners!
A pretty no. of
Luxurious and Expensive restaurants,are lined up,for your reception;provided
You've enough Bucks to pay for each smile they shower upon you! :-)
Shoppers,once here, dont
pause or wait for some freaky guys to deliver you a packet,inspite of all the
efforts of Flipkart's recent Ad! :-P
They Choose,Grab,Own all
with a pride, and a "I am the King of the world" kinda feeling keeps
radiating from their faces.
Probably, some people,as you'd observe, shop
just to make others envy,many a times,its turns the other way round.

You could find people
busy clicking selfies, and few of them,posing a BMW ,Audi or a Mercedes Benz,
in their background, while their true owners are busy swiping their cards in
some Brand X showrooms.( How many of you have actually 'sefied ' yourselves
like that? That's bit crazy, but You can go crazy sometimes :) )
"Central park has
greenary in abundance ", I heard a guy, busy spotting the green dots!
Some Popcorn, Some
chips, and a Movie; you'd love to, if you have someone to show it off to;
" 180 Bucks for
just a handful of Popcorn! That's Robbing in public!", I heard an Old Man
freaking out at the Well Polished Popcorn seller, who had an appreciable amount
of corporate glare.
All he replied to the
Old Man, was just to give a fake smile at him, mostly sarcastic!
Now that, we were
finally done with the movie, we had to leave the airconditioned theater.
It was Hot! Very hot!
Seemed like Global
warming was done, inflicting CP in just 12 hrs of the day!
It becomes even more
populated in the evening, with some teenagers, highschool kidults joining the
crowd and literally living up their Lives, as they call it!
So, in a nutshell, CP
offers, activities of a lifetime! You cant really miss it!
